General Information

The University of Oregon, also referred to as “UO” or even “Oregon,” was founded in 1876 and located in the suburbs of Eugene, Oregon along the Willamette River, with a campus size of 295 acres. Also, admitted into the Associate of American Universities in 1969, UO offers 316 degree programs in both undergraduate and graduate degrees among its eight colleges: the the School of Law, Robert D. Clark Honors College (the oldest honors college in the United States), the School of Architecture and Allied Arts, the Charles H. Lundquist College of Business, the College of Education, the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Journalism and Communication, and the School of Music and Dance.

Student Life

UO Athletics

UO has eighteen varsity teams - amongst which, its track and field team and its football team are the most renowned.
